I’m Chinmay - an engineer with a habit of wandering. Some days I’m neck-deep in AI models and datasets. Other days I’m tinkering with Linux until the terminal feels like home again. And once in a while, I disappear into a hyperfixation so specific that even my laptop questions its purpose.

I build things because I like seeing ideas turn into something real… even if the first version breaks, the tenth misbehaves, and the final one only works because of three hacks I’ll pretend were design choices. I enjoy the quiet puzzles inside systems: the way a model trains, the way a GPU bottlenecks, the way a tiny config change can make everything fall into place.

But life isn’t only terminals and tensors. I play guitar when I need to slow down, swim when my brain feels too loud, and dive into video games when I want to explore worlds I didn’t have to code myself. Clicking random photos, long walks, late-night YouTube rabbit holes; they all make their way into my routine at some point. I’m a collector of small obsessions, and I don’t see that changing anytime soon.

This blog is where all of that ends up… the experiments, the thoughts, the mistakes, the surprises, and the side quests that colour the in-between. It’s less a portfolio and more a notebook I left open for anyone passing by.

If you like AI, Linux, music, games, or just the odd comfort of watching someone chase curiosity across different corners of life, you’ll probably feel at home here.
